Hi, my name is Jade, and I am a trainee counsellor currently working towards my Level 4 Counselling and Psychology Higher National Certificate at College.
Life experience, counselling training and volunteering has given me a base to feel ready to be available to hold space for others. I am here for you, ready to listen and understand your perspective and experience of life.
I have volunteered with Marie Curie alongside my counselling courses for the last year as a Peer Support person for people struggling with bereavement – this has given me experience in really listening to people talk about their fears and pain from their life experience.
I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe you are the expert on your own life and my role is to walk alongside you, as you discover your own strengths and solutions.
As a person-centered counsellor, I focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect and acceptance.
I understand that taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting.
If you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, self esteem, relationship issues or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed in our fast-paced world, I will provide a safe space for you to explore these feelings where you can feel heard and where your personal experience of the life you live is valued.
